Welcome back. You may notice that besides the news update everything looks pretty much the same as it did before.
That's okay, because I'm updating
WITHOUT OVERHAULING EVERYTHING ELSE!! *audible gasp* Holy crap! Is the world
coming to an end? Nope, I just decided that this style is nice and it's not going to change again anytime soon.
We're doing a bit of spring cleaning around here. (Yes it's early.) Old, worthless garbage is leaving to make
way for new pointless garbage. It's mostly unused links, backups of backups of old site designs, and copies of news
systems and phpBB that have fallen out of use. Time to rent a digital dumpster and dig into the piles of accumulated
r ubbish. As I'm writing this, my FTP client is hard at work downloading a copy of every single file I put on the server.
When it's done, I'll put it on an old computer set up with Apache that I use as a development sandbox, where all the files
will be processed. The whole mess won't be uploaded until I know the file deletion won't screw anything up. Hopefully the
server should be loaded with a few megs' worth of crap. You, the reader, shouldn't see any difference in the site, at least
I hope not because that means something got screwed up.
The first casualty of the cleaning is an old phpbb installation that became unused after it got hacked. Then the Contact page
was snuffed. (Its box doesn't show up on the navigation bar anymore!) I just threw my email into an image in the sidebar over
there. That's all it would have included anyways. Before you ask, I don't have AIM, ICQ, or MSN Messenger. I have no MySpace,
DeviantArt, Friendster, or Facebook account. I'm not getting one. Stop asking. Seriously.

In other news, I've made a news archive page. (It's at the bottom, there.) Only the most current news will appear on the
front page. The rest will wind up in the archive page. There's also a couple new motto strings.
Oh and if you're wondering, the whole-site backup weighs in at 80 megs.
